Full details of the September Social Calendar are included in the PDF below. By posting it for you to download here—instead of attaching the file to an email—we avoid some of the risk of losing it to SPAM or Junk folders.
What would you like to see on the Skyliners’ Social Calendar?
Your Social Committee is always looking for sponsors to host house parties, hikes, shows, dine-outs, happy hours, and almost any kind of event you can imagine. You can make their
job easier by volunteering your ideas to them. Start by letting Will know what you have in mind. Once he has locked in your dates, be sure to send all the details to Susan Walker by her
deadline, so that she can include the information in the monthly calendar.
It’s this easy...
1-) Schedule your event with Will Werner: [email protected]
2-) Send your complete information write-up to Susan Walker: [email protected]

NOVEMBER 11
VETERANS DAY PARADE SLIDESHOW
BIG SURPRISE!
An amazing thing happened at the Amaro's Table brunch following the Veterans Day Parade. Before we'd finished eating, a young gentleman stopped at our table. He apologized for interrupting our conversation, but said he'd overheard that many in our group were veterans, and that he just wanted to thank all of them for their service. We were all very touched by what he'd said, but ended up completely blown away by what he did! After he'd gone, the restaurant manager told us that before he'd left, that young man had picked up the tab for our entire party of 12—including desserts—which we hadn't even intended to order! You can be sure that many generous tips were left, and we followed up with a card of thanks to gallant stranger. It was a wonderful lesson on "paying it forward."
Found all of these on the WWW!

Here's what's going on in Tall Clubs International™
This digital SKYLINES page was developed to replace our long-gone paper newsletters. If you have some great photos or stories of recent events, or other fun/funny TALL related items, please email them to me so that I can share them on a future page.
